TED-ED: Technology, Entertainment and Design

The goal of TED-Ed, the organization's youth and education project is to encourage and promote the knowledge- and idea-sharing of educators and students everywhere. Everything TED-Ed does supports learning, whether it's creating an expanding video library of original animated lessons, giving teachers around the world a platform to design their own interactive lesson plans, assisting inquisitive students' efforts to bring TED to their schools, and developing presentation literacy.

How to use TED-Ed:
1. Please visit http://ed.ted.com.
2. Register by clicking "Register" to create an account.
3. View the highlighted lessons, navigate to all of the ones already here, or select "Create a Lesson."
4. Enter a keyword to search for potential videos or a URL if you already know the video you want to use on the "Create a Lesson" tab.
5. You will be taken to the "Create a Lesson" page after choosing a video. It should be noted that there are presently two versions of the page with distinct interfaces, but they both function the same way. You can switch between them by clicking the link in the top right corner.
6. If necessary, change the lesson's name. Include the introduction, questions, discussion, supporting details, and conclusion.
7. Click "More" to learn more.
8. When you are prepared to share the lesson by creating a link or sending the lesson to entered email addresses, click the "Publish" button.
9. You may view your dashboard, which contains all the lessons you've made or started creating, as well as lessons and discussions in which you've taken part, by checking your email or by logging into your account. In this area, you can also manage notifications and settings.
10. Each video on your dashboard has a tab that informs you of the possible next steps, such as reviewing student work, and beginning, or ending a session.
